I don't get that message, but I check the right hand menu under "Shipping:" there is often a "Cannot Ship To:", as in this example "http://www.parkseed.com/gardening/PD/6529/".  I haven't bothered trying to order any of these items, but would probably get the message if I did.

You are right, Marianne.  The message ivankov saw comes up when you try to complete the check out with an item in your cart that has restricted shipping to your area.  That being said, ivankov, if you remove the restricted item(s) from your cart, you should be able to complete your order without difficulty.

the only item in my cart are the replacement pods. So if I remove them I will have an empty cart.

Some members have had success with Rapid Rooter grow plugs.  AeroKnipp from Alberta has mentioned using them in a few posts.  You can do a search on the main page for more information, if you are interested.

You could also buy a Master Gardener kit in Canada too.

It's difficult to find replacement pods that fit the machines in Canada.  I thought Futuregarden shipped to Canada, and they do, but only one of their manuals so there's no really cheap alternatives.

If you have a 7 pod machine, this site ships to Canada "http://www.igardenshoppe.com/magento/index.php/parts-accessories/do-it-yourself-aerogarden-kit-7.html".  This one is for the 6 pod machine "http://www.igardenshoppe.com/magento/index.php/parts-accessories/do-it-yourself-aerogarden-kit-6.html".  They don't seem to sell the pods without the nutrients.  You do need to save the baskets from one of your AG kits to use with these.
