Hello all, I'm new to the forum.  I've been an Aero herb gardener and outside patio gardener for several years, and I just got my 2nd AG w/ a Deluxe upgrade kit.  I ambitiously started three determinate full-size tomatoes in my AG this week: Zhefan Short, Burbank Slicing, and Sophie's Choice varieties.  Is three plants too much for one AG?  I have them spaced two in the back (one on each end) and one in the middle front spot.

I'm always such a worrier when it comes to my little green friends, so expect a lot of questions from me!  Any advice from other full-size tomato growers would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the forum Econerd,

That's exactly the right spacing - it's the same as the AG Cherry Tomato Kit.

Don't worry about asking questions, there are plenty of helpful people on here that can offer advice.  Smiley

Welcome, Econerd. There are several of us with full size tomatoes in our AGs. I have three unknown tomatoes started from cuttings I placed in the same holes you did and they're doing fine. I'm struggling with getting them to pollinate but think I'm getting a handle on it. My thread wanders a bit but you might check it out... http://www.aerogardengrowers.com/index.php/topic,668.0.html
Feel free to ask questions, there's a lot of knowledge to be had here.

Welcome to the forum!  Many of us here like to tinker with their plants and are disinclined to believe anybody who says "You can't do this or that!"  Of course, there are a few things one cannot do, but my view is people should try anyway, because the world is filled with two kinds of people--those who invent things and those who benefit from the things other people invent.  The world would be a dull place without all/both of us   Cheesy

Hope to hear many wonderful stories ab out your full-sized tomatoes and other plants you grow.
