I was looking for a Christmas gift for my parents - difficult because they have everything they need, so I was looking on the Internet for some ideas.  I found I could have it shipped directly to them so that was great.  We decided it would make a good gift for my in-laws as well.  Then decided it would make a nice gift to ourselves.  It was a month or two before we got around to planting our Classic and within another month we had two more.  Wink

I had the TV on one morning about a year ago while I was getting ready for work and was surfing channels. Not much on except infomercials, but the one for the AG caught my eye because I've always wanted to have a garden, but could never get anything to grow. I sat there and watched for awhile, imagining growing all sorts of things in my kitchen...then saw the price and said "Ah well, guess not".

I didn't even think about it again until last week when my mom and I were in BBB and we saw them marked half off. It was a moment of "OOooo....must HAVE!"...so I snagged the last SS6 they had and some seeds. I'm going to head to the other BBB in town today to see what they have left.

I first saw them at BB&B.  Black thumb + short growing season + desire for fresh herbs and veggies + Christmas = a happy AG owner!
