Corrine posted a very valid question today on glogs, so I guess a little background information may be needed for our newer members. When the forum was first started, we were all posting various pictures of our gardens in any post we found to be relevant. H2O basically took those posts and split them into "glogs" (child boards) so that each regularly posting member had their own space for garden updates. If you are interested in hosting your own "glog" please start your thread off of the main board. As you post more often H2O will eventually create your own space on the board. In the meantime, you will still have your own thread to post your garden pics and updates.

Happy gardening and please let me know if you have questions!!!   Grin

Thanks for the explanation about the glogs Ellen!

I'd also like to add that glogs that have not been active by the owner of that glog for at least 6 months with be made into regular topics in the "Photos & Glogs" section. Thanks everybody.

Hi AeroGardeners,

Just wanted to let you know that I have moved some of the topics that belong to the gardeners who have posted regularly in the "Photos & Glogs" section into their own sub board. Please do not feel that you have been left out if your topics do not have their own sub-board. As Ellen has stated above, the reason that the sub boards are created is to limit the clutter in the "Photos & Glogs" section.

Happy glogging and thank you for your understanding! Smiley

I am delighted to have been granted a Glog!  Thank you!  I'll post some new photos today.

Ellen,

Where did the inactive glogs went?  There were some information on a couple that I meant to go back and check.

Hi Mary,

The posts from the inactive glogs have been moved back into the general glog discussion below the child glog boards.

Ouch, a lot of searching than.  There were good information I intended to go back to on a few glogs but cannot recall offhand which members they were.  Maybe Drann and a couple of other?  A lot of searching then when I have time.

Mary, anything that was moved last night was last updated in the October-November-December range. If you look at the last date modified in the posts, they are there in that date range. Drann has never had a glog. She did not wish to have one at the time H2O and I asked her about it. Hope that helps.

Hey, could I have my own glog, since others' have been removed?  I've got 5 threads and I can't seem to find one of them..

Also, I'm kinda lazy about the whole "scrolling down" thing  Cool

Thanks!

Oh, and what determines glogs and such?  Some people only have 3 topics  Undecided  Plus H20 hasn't logged in for 2 months..

Glogs are given considering forum position (or status, generally "AeroGarden Addicts" or above) and length of membership on the forum. If you have questions on this please send me a pm.

H2O is the site admin and owner. Aqua is in the military and is currently deployed, so hers has not been removed either.
