I realize Aerogarden doesn't sell eggplant seed kits, but I often see pictures of eggplants in an Aerogarden.  What's the best seed to buy for it?  I'd like to grow mini Thai eggplants or white ichiban Japanese eggplants if possible, but I don't know where to begin.  Other eggplants would be fine too as long as you think they'll grow well.  And do I need a tall garden or will they grow in a regular 6 pod Space Saver?  I'll have one coming open soon.

Any suggestions?

I am thinking you will need a tall garden for this project but i do not know that it will hold a mature eggplant.

Dwarf eggplant varieties grow well in an 8-inch diameter pot or even a deep window box.

Thank you for that!  I've just ordered some Asian mini varieties from rareseeds.  Japanese White Egg, Thai Green and Mini purple.  I love that website!

 Kiss great link!

Eggplants are frost-tender, herbaceous perennials that are usually grown as annuals

Does this mean you can keep a plant going from year to year under the right condtions?
