Clearance at Bed Bath and Beyond

Tonight, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to treat myself to a cherry tomato seed kit for my birthday.  When I couldn't find the aerogardens, the manager told me that they have just discontinued all aerogarden stuff.  He said that he just put the last of it in the clearance aisle.  They had one cherry tomato and one salad green kit left for $9 each.  So I got a real bargain.

I can only assume they did this chain wide.  But your mileage may vary.

Thanks for posting this!  I called the two Bed Bath and Beyonds in our town and they were full price there.  Today, we were in another town and happened to pop into their Bed Bath and Beyond and sure enough, Aerogarden clearance.  You can use the BBB 20% off coupons, too.  With the coupon, the SS6 was 64 and the Veggie Pro was $80.  Seed kits are $8 with coupon.  Got a Veggie Pro.     I'm psyched - I'm going to use it to start dwarf Hibiscus and dwarf Cannas for the backyard and Brazilian Fireworks Maracas for the family room.

FYI......It seems like all Aerogarden products are 50% off.....even online. VeggiePro was $89.99 but out of stock. I was able to go to the BBB store and place an order for the VeggiePro. With the 20% off coupon and the sales tax plus shipping it was $86.48. Out of stock online only means the warehouse. There is an EXCELLENT chance they can get what you want if you place the order in the store if you don't mind paying for shipping.

Well I just visited the local BB&B and bought the space saver 6 with the gourmet herb kit for $69, tax and all.   There is one more unit and I am thinking about buying it as well.

Just went to my BBB after work and it seems all they have in store is Space Saver 6's but i was able to  order a VeggiePro.  With shipping it was $86 .

I stopped in BB&B after work. Ended up with a VeggiePro (my first 6-pod) for about $77 with tax.  I went in to see if they had any of the flower kits...

If you get BB&B e-mails, make sure that you check to see if you have one for free shipping, before you order.

I am jealous, no BBB here. And I did want another Veggie Pro, but not at full price. So I went over to eBay and found a NEW, unopened Veggie Pro for $115 shipped on a Buy It Now. I did. 

Apparently it was a Christmas gift that was received, but never opened. It won't have that problem here! I believe that's about it for fitting full gardens in the basement, unless I can clear some more stuff out.

I had gone to the BBB site as soon as I saw the post about the sale, but they were out of stock then, and I checked and they aren't even on the site now, as mentioned. So while it was a bit more, I figure $115 shipped is still a decent price for a tall garden.

When I called today to check the status of  a BBB order, I asked about them no longer having the VeggiePro available online. I was told you CAN still order the VeggiePro at the store even thou it's not listed online. They will search all the stores and find it for you.

If you go to the store to order, you can use a 20% off coupon.  They will not take it online, but if the store orders it online, they can use the coupon for you.
