Today Feb 3,I received my Micro Tom seeds and now they are planted in the AG3.

I have used distilled water and 1/8 tsp  3 part liquid nutrient mix.

I planted 3 seeds each in 2 of the pods and will choose 1 plant from each of the 2 to continue.

This is my first time using Micro Toms.

Yay, I think you will enjoy growing them. let them ripen completely and they taste great. I have sprouts on mine so we can grow these together as well. Wink

Another AG experiment. Cheesy
Did you add nutes already?

I am using a very faint amount of 3 part liquid nutrients and am trying to keep the
apartment a bit warmer than I usually do which, I am told, is freezing to other
people who pop in.

I have also ordered a very sweet cherry tom which has not come yet, and I plan
to put that in one of the upgrades when they arrive and give those a go rather
than getting another Cherry Tom Kit from AG.

I just checked with Park's and my seeds shipped this morning!!
I was rather expecting them in the future because they say  'ships in spring'...but, then
again, spring is just around the corner.

yes i added a seedling mix just a few mins ago, i typically spout with plain water. As long as the plants dont burn a light mix wont hurt them.

Weekend update!
Today is Day 19 and the micro toms in the AG3 are slowly growing.
I upped the mix last night, but it is a lot weaker than if I were to add to a large machine.
No meter reading, though.

Oh No! Is that the cute red and black one you got a while back?
I was looking on the internet and also in my handbook for the specs and they are not even included.
It seems the only specs are for the 6 pod and up.
What went on your machine?
Probably the only thing is to buy another mini seeing there are no parts around for them.
Tons of 7 pods..Why not get a gently  used classic off ebay!
I feel so bad about your micros.

I replanted them in my remaining gardens for now. I couldn't stand to see them die they are about 4-5 inches tall now.

I think the base shorted out. The pump stopped, the lights dont flash and the light only comes on if i mod it with my own cable.

I didnt have it sitting level and i think some water leaked from the bowl. I really liked the red and black garden but i think i will miss the night light in there the most.

It was really nice. i remember when they were being advertised on special and i waited 1 day too long before the last one was snatched up.I was so disappointed.
Luckily you have some spare places to transplant.

Day 26 micro tom update.
The plants are in the AG3 and I pruned them back a bit and they are doing well on
a half mix of liquid Nutrients, veg growth stage, nice dark green. There are 2 plants in the machine.

This is DAY 36 for the micro toms..ALL is well.
I am keeping the nutrient mix low in the AG3 at  1.5 - 1 - .5

I pruned them and they are spreading like mad. Nice and healthy looking:

I think that's amazing!  Grin

Do you top-prune these?  You've mentioned a couple of times that you prune them and I'm wondering if you prune leaves or branches?
