Taipan, I'm not sure if you are still looking for some Thai basil...  I wish I had some to share with you, but I do not.

I'm sure you are most likely familiar with the Aerogarden International Basil Kit.  That is one of my very favorites!  Smiley  I seem to think that Nepolatano Basil is pretty similar to Thai Basil, and it seems a little easier to find!  I have actually found some seeds at my local hardware store! Cheesy  But, if you have your heart set on Thai basil, I VERY MUCH understand how that goes...   Wink

Good Luck!   Smiley

Taipan,

I just got my catalog from rareseeds.com today and checked and they have a listing for Basil: Siam Queen Thai and Basil: Thai Holy "Kaprao".

Hope that helps...

I bought a pack of Siam Queen Thai Basil from Home Depot. I took out the seeds from the purple basil in my initial herb pack. It didn't grow that well, probably my fault.

The thai basil took me a while to find at Home Depot. I can't recall if the word Thai was in the title so look for Siam.

Thanks everyone, I was coming on here to ask about the same thing!  I'll take that advice and use it.  I have 4 extra herb kits (they came with the gardens, I have 6, but I obviously didn't want to plant 5 herb gardens at once!!)  I can dig the seeds out of a pod I don't want and put Thai Basil in, right?
