Amazing, Shane!  I'm going to try pollinating mine with fingers and see how it goes.

We don't deep-fry our jalapeno poppers.  We cut a slit in the side, take out the seeds, and stuff them with cream cheese sometimes adding in garlic or cracked black pepper or some AG herbs.  Then just wrap them in bacon, fasten the ends with toothpicks, and grill them till the bacon's done.  They're great on the grill over charcoal, but fantastic when we're camping and cooking over hardwood.  There's nothing like that wood smoke flavor.  Anaheims are good made that way too, if you want something with less heat.  Poppers are good stuffed with other kinds of cheese, too, like jack cheese or muenster or other mild, creamy cheese that helps tame the heat of the pepper, or with cooked spicy sausage mixed with cream cheese.  Endless possibilities.

The statue between the two gardens is a white Buddha with Tibetan mala's hanging around his neck. think of rosary sorta, its how they count their chants, each bead represents the 108 deadly sins.  I am a practicing Buddhist and just love that color red.

The statues are not something to be worshiped, but serve as a reminder to stay on the middle path to enlightenment. Plus they look cool  Wink Here is a quick pic of the statue in question.

It's closest to the bedroom door and its most of the attention. I obviously don't pay that close of attention to the pepper garden ROFL

Shane, I'm so sorry to have strayed off topic here, but I wanted to thank you for answering my question, and for sharing the picture of your beautiful statue with your gardens.  It is so peaceful...   Smiley

Please, forgive me for being so naive... but, may I ask, as a Buddhist, are you vegetarian?  Please, forgive me, if this is not a true part of Buddhism...  but, as you may know from some of my writings, I am a vegetarian and have been for most of my life!   Smiley  It's sort of a difficult subject to talk about, as people have become so militant and political about these things.  I love "vegetarianism"!  It is the "right" way for me to live my life, although, I very much understand that it is not the "lifestyle" for most people.

May I ask, on your beautiful Buddha statue, what is that in his hands?

Although many Buddhist are vegetarian, I am not. In fact i do not eat most of what i grow. I feed them to my Wife and mother mainly. The Buddha is holding a lotus candle holder made in Dharmsala India, the home of the Dalia Lama and the Tibetan government as are most of the malas I've collected.

Are you planning to save seeds?  You're getting great yields on these.

Were these just plain old jalepeno seeds or a mini variety? I'd LOVE to try & duplicate your plants! I <3 jalepenos but no room for an outdoor garden.. Oh & I have the AG6E. Would I need a tall garden?

these were originally taken from seeds grown in an aerogarden but typically they do need a tall garden. it's a mystery as to why these remained so small and still produce peppers. I saved a ton of seeds from the largest pepper i grew so i should have plenty for trading.
