So I'm not really sure  what category this goes under so I put it under sauces, but I like to use it on my sandwiches instead of Mayo.

1 can of garbanzo beans, drained (sometimes also called chick peas)
4-5 good sized leaves of fresh sweet basil (you can use different kinds of basil depending on what kind of flavor you want)
1 tsp of minced garlic (about 1-2 cloves)
1 tsp olive oil (add more if a more liquid texture is desired
about 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
Also, for a slightly different taste add a little bit of mint

combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until all ingredients have become one to form a pretty thick paste. If too thick, add a little bit of olive oil or even some of the liquid from off the beans to the mixture.

Enjoy!

Thank you Rose!! I love hummus the traditional way and this is a new twist on it. I can't wait to try it!
