Well, I'm trying the Liquid Earth Nutrients in my AG3 with some basil seeds. The basil are custom variety with 7 different kinds in the packet, so we'll see what I get!
I have had the Liquid Earth nutrients for awhile now, but have not used them. I don't really know *how* to use them, so this will be an experiment for me.
As of tonight, I put in the pods and water and added one capful (= ~ 2 tsp) of the GROW. Once they sprout, I'll add 1 tsp GROW and 1 tsp VIGOR. If anyone has any tips about the Liquid Earth nutrients in the AG3, pass them along. I have a feeling I added too much GROW for that little pot of water. We'll see.
Once I plant that stuff on the right, I'm doing poppies in the other AG3.

There's about four things I want to grow and I don't have enough AGs! I need one more... LOL
I think I've given up on getting an Elite+ though. Maybe another SS6 or a regular 6pod AG...
I think poppies will be cool! I keep spelling it "poopies"... LOL

I calculated this exact question.
half a teaspoon
is the amount i got when i ran the numbers. thats 1/2 a tsp for grow and a 1/2 tsp vigor added to the ag3
You can mix a gallon of water with one teaspoon grow , one teaspoon vigor. Use this as your top off. I never did this, but thought id mention it as im thinking of trying them next batch of tomatoes.
Two tablespoons is way to much, you may want to flush and refill. refill with half a teaspoon of grow.

Also while starting, you usually go for 50% concentration of normal feed growth feed.

I didn't do two tablespoons, I did about two teaspoons. At least that's what I'm guessing one little capful is.
Should I rinse and refill or is two teaspoons too much, too?

ideally its a bit more than you want to start with. I wouldn't worry about it personally. Its not enough to do any damage. just top off with plain water.

Ok, I just went and measured and one capful is almost exactly one TEASPOON. So, I put in one teaspoon of GROW in my AG3. Is this too much? The bottle says one 1tsp per gallon, so I'm guessing it is. Also, should I be adding VIGOR at this point, too?

I just realized I never posted and pics of this. The basil did really well. No problems. After awhile, I quit putting in nutrients and it STILL did really well. LOL
I'm going to take it down soon!

That sounds like my petunias. I stopped using nutrients, then put it outside in soil - still doing well.
LOL - I can see your Add Nutrient light. I turned mine off...
Sounds like your basil did really well. I find I never have any problem using all my basil, never really used much before my AG garden, but it seems to go well with a lot of things.

I'm going to dry what's left and I saved a lot to make pesto with!
I never even bothered to turn off my nutrient light. LOL
