I just went to the Aerogrow web site to check on my order (again!) and saw this:

Please note: We take the first week in January to complete our year-end inventory.
Because of this, your Order Status may not have changed. We anticipate shipments will resume on January 12th. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It looks like they may be catching up on their back-log.  I ordered an AG6 on 1/2/09, and today I've progressed to Stage 2.

Thanks! I didn't catch that note when I checked earlier (I was a little rushed this afternoon), but both of my orders are on Stage 2 today also.   Smiley

Dcherry you should take advantage of the savings coupons they mail to everyone who subscribes to it. They are giving 10$ rebate for purchase of the aerogarden 6. Or you can get 20$ rebate for aerogarden 6 elite plus. Theres tons more savings in there too. So make sure u get them by mail they dont expire until March 31, 2009.

What coupons are those?  I get the AG catalog mailed to me, and I'm registered on their web site, but I've never gotten any coupons.  I'm looking to buy an Elite + in March, so that would come in handy.

Thanks, Azure247.  How do I go about getting those savings coupons?  I must confess that I also bought two of the AG6Elite+ from Gardener's as well - so those coupons will really add up.

I mailed in the Product Registration Card stub that came in the Aerogarden box and they send you a coupon savings certificate full of rebates. You can get rebates off of seed kits, light bulbs, and all Aerogarden models.

Edit: Also it says that you have to buy it "from an authorized Aerogarden retailer between 9/1/08 and 2/28/09." Kohls, Lowes, and a bunch of other retailers are considered authorized and you guys can see the fulll list of retailers from aerogarden.com.

It looks like this

It's missing the other 2 rebates because I already cut them off and mailed them away.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the tip.  I usually neglect to register purchases, but I certainly won't this time.

Kudos to you.

Cool!  It's interesting that there this card did NOT come in the box with the AG6 I got for Christmas (which we ordered from AG), but it DID come in the box with the replacement AG they sent to us when the first one proved to be defective.  I sent it off--so hopefully, I'll get a discount on my birthday Elite +!
